Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
TaskBridge is operated by TaskBridge Digital Services (SMC-Private) Limited ("TaskBridge", "we", "us"), with its registered office at House # 134, Street 1, Mohalla Baba Himmet Shah Luddan, Tehsil and District Vehari, Punjab 61100, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have when you use the TaskBridge app and website (the "Service").
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, mobile number, email address and password or sign-in details.
- Profile information: your photo, city and the details you add about yourself.
- Task information: the tasks you post or accept, descriptions, budgets, messages, photos and ratings.
- Location: the task location, and, with your permission, your device location while a task is in progress.
- Identity verification (agents): a photo and number of your CNIC and a selfie, so we can verify you.
- Device and usage information: device type, app version, IP address, crash reports and how you use the Service.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let buyers and agents connect.
- To verify agents and keep the Service safe.
- To show tasks, enable chat, track tasks and handle ratings and disputes.
- To send verification codes, notifications and support replies.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to improve the Service.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with the other person in a task, as needed to complete it (for example, name, rating and task location);
- with service providers who help us run the Service, under confidentiality obligations;
- with authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety or property.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run the Service. They process information only on our behalf and under their own terms and privacy policies. These include Google Firebase and Google Cloud (sign-in, phone number verification, database, file storage, cloud functions and hosting), Google Play services, and, where used, SMS or messaging providers for verification codes and notifications. 6. Cookies, analytics and crash reports
Our website and app may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We may use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the Service is used and to fix problems. These may collect device information, app usage and diagnostic data. You can clear cookies in your browser or reset your device's analytics settings at any time.
7. International data storage
Our service providers may store and process information on servers outside Pakistan. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and stored in other countries, where we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with this policy.
8. Retention
We keep personal information as long as your account is active and as needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements. Verification documents are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. Withdrawing some permissions may limit parts of the Service.
11. Account and data deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time. Full steps are on our Delete your account page. You can either:
- inside the app, from your account or profile settings (where available); or
- by emailing info@taskbridge.com.pk from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account", stating your registered name and mobile number.
We will verify the request, confirm it and process it within a reasonable time. We may keep limited information that we must retain for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, or for an unresolved dispute, and we will delete it when that reason ends.
12. Children
The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
